Frances Johnson. From her farm girl roots ‘til now Frances wanders through the woods, hunts mushrooms, locates native herbs and explores their healing properties, communicates with animals and plants, grows flowers, and expands her use of dowsing to listen to and talk with all life. After receiving a degree in art and physical education, she spent many years teaching and working with people with handicaps. She completed her massage training in 1989 at the Northern Lights School of Massage in Minneapolis, MN. Experience in chiropractic, medical, spiritual, and spa work settings allows Frances to create healing sessions that are specially fitted to your individual needs. Her goal is to provide a nurturing, safe environment that encourages your body and mind to relax and to release pain and allows you to experience your own living energy.
Steph Winter. Steph dreamed of becoming a dance teacher as she studied tap, jazz, and modern dance from the ages of 5 to 12. She pursued a degree in journalism instead (yes, she also published her own handwritten newspaper as a child). In 1992 she received a M.A. in human development. Her graduate work focused on the emotional and spiritual aspects of living well with a chronic health condition. This interest emerged from her personal challenges dealing with insulin-dependent diabetes. In order to enhance her own self-care she explored the connections between mind and body, imagery in healing, and personal empowerment. Additional study in Reiki, T’ai Chi Ch’uan, and T’ai Chi Chih Joy Thru Movement followed. In 1996 she became a certified teacher of T’ai Chi Chih moving meditation and reconnected to her dream of teaching dance. She also offers reiki sessions and provides healing guidance for those who wish to live balanced, healthy lives.
